<note>In 2014 Singapore Strait Times had reportedthat Singapore National Library Board (NLB) – backed up by several groups, has decided to remove and pulp three children‟s books which presumed to contain the story of Singapore‟s sensitive issue, LGBT. Suchen Christine Lim, both writer and curriculum director has stood up against such decision, her voice echoed in the 7th Annual Gathering of Asia Pacific Writers and Translator. In such occasion, she deliberately encouraged the fellow writers and society to pass the movement to justify equality for benefit of Singapore society as a whole.By using Norman Fairclough‟s analysis of text, order of discourse, and social practice, this qualitative study is written to examine and explain the relationship of language and power and relate it to the context which presumed to be right and legitimate the truth in the specific term of discourse, in the other words, Critical Discourse Analysis would analyze how Suchen Christine Lim‟s speech are created in the specific language or texts and context. Literary works are seen as the heartbeat of certain groups to represent their voices and other fundamental rights, besides it is one of the Medias or tools that allow us to understand dozens and various ideas and concept of multiculturalism in a specific place and time. Lim through the context of multiculturalism endorsed LGBT‟s value and practice to be seen as the part of Singapore society instead of distinctive part. The fact that Singapore NLB has removed some LGBT books was considered to suppress the voice and LGBT‟s existence in the modern and liberal Singapore</note>
